How We Farm — Natural Inputs, Not Shortcuts

At Apollo Farm, sustainability isn't a marketing label — it's how our daily operations actually work. Our desi chickens are partly fed on Azolla Pinnata, a protein-rich aquatic fern we grow ourselves using only micronutrient water dosing. This reduces our dependence on commercial feed while giving our birds a more natural, nutrient-diverse diet.

We also farm Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, which convert organic waste into a high-protein feed ingredient — turning what would otherwise be discarded into valuable nutrition for our poultry and a product we can offer to other farmers in Madhya Pradesh.

Our moringa trees are grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, harvested and dried using traditional sun-drying methods that preserve nutrients better than industrial processing.

This closed-loop approach — Azolla and BSF feeding our chickens, moringa growing alongside — means Apollo Farm produces less waste, depends less on external chemical inputs, and gives customers food that's genuinely closer to how farming was meant to work.
